This is an excellent book for any one with interest in
understating and bettering themselves. The author of this book is Gretchen
Rubin. Gretchen Rubin began her career in law. She was clerking for Justice
Sandra Day O’Connor, which is when she realized she wanted to be a writer. She
is a thought provoking and influential writer. Her work is focused on habits,
happiness and human nature. She has authored many books, which includes the
bestseller Better Than Before and The Happiness Project. She runs a very popular
blog Gretchen Rubin.
Many a times I hear many say (including me) “I am not sure
why I reacted a certain way to a situation.” This book provides valuable insight
to it. The book states that there are four categories ( Upholder, Questioner,
Obliger, Rebel) of people. There is a questionnaire in the book which helps us
identify our personality. A good understating of our personality can help us
handle situations better. This book and also help us identify the personalities
of the people around us so we can manage things in our work place and home with
less stress.
The book can be purchased from Amazon.
I recommend this book to any one with interest in understating
personalities.
The book was provided to me by “blogging for books” in exchange
for my above honest opinion.
